Through the years Avneet has been a huge part of my basketball success. Since grade 8 Av has shown me many drills specifically for me to improve my weaknesses. I have never really been an explosive player, so Av has been able to specifically show me drills that work on ball handling and quickness into my jump shot. In my last years of high school Av really took time to give the 1 on 1 training and confidence talks to take my game to the next level. Av is a really knowledgeable guy who spends a lot of his time researching new and exciting drills. Every year he had new drills and new aspects of the game to incorporate to the drills. This made practicing fun because I could see myself getting better each session. As I finished high school, I had a few university offers but I chose to stay home and play at Vancouver Island University where Av was an assistant coach. Without Av I would have never have been so successful with basketball. His drills transferred to real game plays because each session he pushed me 100 percent each repetition. I am very thankful to have met Av early in my basketball career.
